I wanted to mention that while I am taking a leave from OSCP, I have signed up with several www.udemy.com courses and currently sign up for iLabs with EC-Council. For the next 6 months, for $ 199, I will play in their environment and enjoy what they have to offer.
It seems like a very easy step-by-step online lab, with easy to follow instructions for setting up devices and launching against internal targets. I think this would be a good introduction to painting and would give me more information about the tools built to run on the Windows platform.
Maybe at the end of the lab, and after purchasing some books, I can sit for the CEH exam and add to my resume.
As always, I am eager to expand my knowledge with any certification or laboratory environment.
here I go…

I am currently going through the lab for online training (also purchased classes via udemy.com) and CEH to finally sit for the exam. With slow training (compared to OSCP), it is much more about setting up tools and checking results / output, which is useful. I am trying to be completely possible and get out of this test, if HR needs to be affected. 🙂
I have also bought the Security + book from Amazon, to finally sit the exam.
My plan is to show an employer my desire to learn computer / network / web / application security and get employment.
I like this post, enjoyed this one appreciate it for putting up. “Fear not for the future, weep not for the past.” by Percy Bysshe Shelley.
